Union Pacific Kenosha Sub Construction

In conjunction with the expansion of WeEnergies' Oak Creek power plant, the crossing at Six Mile Road is being replaced with an underpass.  The crossing has long been an annoyance to the residents of the Crestview neighborhood to the east, as the slowing coal trains would tie up traffic at the crossing, and the railroad has even been ticketed for blocking the crossing for hours!  The Seven Mile Road crossing to the north is also being closed, since there will be five tracks at that point.
