The Racine-Sturtevant Trail Guide has been updated with some newer information, the result of a recent email from a site visitor. In addition to replying to the visitor's inquiry, I have also posted the information on the page for all to see. Eventually, I will have an updated map to post in the Maps area, and integrate the new information into the guide.

Perusing all my old Bicycling Journals recently (while looking for a map to reuse for other projects), I noticed that the July 29, 2003 (Brookfield) journal had a couple issues: 1. The map, adapted from a Yahoo map, had no railroad lines on it. In addition to correcting this issue, I also replaced a few erroneous or non-standard highway markers with my own markers, added a Fox River tributary, and adjusted a couple roads that were in the way of other updates. 2. The page was not centered; I suspect this was still left over from the page's original GeoCities PageBuilder creation! In addition to correcting this, I also updated the background colors on the page as well as some of the other page styling. I'm working on a couple newer projects as well, which will hopefully be done soon, so stay tuned!

OK, that's a little embarrassing, I put up a "Construction Alert" on the Bugline Trail map... FIVE YEARS ago! I'm sure the construction is long done and forgotten by now, so I finally managed to make the extra stuff disappear! I really ought to do some updates and upgrades to that map, especially considering that the trail is longer, the "missing" piece in Sussex has been trail for a few years already, and a few of the roads have been reconfigured. Of course, it is on my to-do list, which has a few other priority items on it nowadays. Eventually...

Well... It's been entirely too long since I've done much of anything on this site, other than cleaning up minor issues here and there. However, I have finally managed to finish up a bike map that I had been working on some time ago, but had stalled on posting it. I present: Oak Leaf Trail - Drexel segment. Its completion was sparked by the discovery of a newly-paved trail, the Victory Creek Trail, which is also included on the map.
Hopefully, I will be able to get some additional updates completed in the near future – including an entire new section of this site!

The Franklin-Muskego Trails Map has been updated. The new version of the map eliminates the need for a separate horizontal version of the page. In addition, this new version replaces a very outdated color scheme with my newest standard, which includes a universal map key. Enjoy!
