Well, now that I've gone and publicized this site a bit on The PhilCast^ *ding*, I figured I'd better clean up a couple lingering issues on the home page: Primary of these was the site search box, which no longer worked since Windows Live switched over to Bing. I had looked into using Gigablast, but its functionality was less than satisfactory, so I made the transition to Bing. The other issue was with the 3um feed on the home page, which didn't work the way it was supposed to when there was more than one page. Maybe this was an indication of how my php knowledge has developed – or maybe not – since I had looked at the same changes some time ago and couldn't figure it out; however, this time, I nearly instantly found the code that needed to be changed, and changed it!
Apologies for the lack of new photos lately as well. The site "went back in time" at the end of July, due to some cleanup on my webhost's end. Please note that I really don't blame them for the errant changes, it's more my fault for not cleaning up my old site! I do have a pile of photos that are all but ready to go, just waiting for a "rainy day" to get them up! (And we haven't been seeing too many of those lately, just hot and humid!!!)

The Franklin-Muskego Trails Map has been updated. The new version of the map eliminates the need for a separate horizontal version of the page. In addition, this new version replaces a very outdated color scheme with my newest standard, which includes a universal map key. Enjoy!
