The new low-flying bridge over the wetlands on the Canadian Pacific M&P Sub. Back in the olden days, the maintenance headaches of a bridge or trestle like this would have warranted a small fill, but current environmental regulations prohibit "disturbing the wetlands", so we now have a state-of-the-art bridge paid for by taxpayers which will likely add to the maintenance costs of this branch line.
