Tipped Semi Truck 7/5/06

A tipped semi truck caused some severe disruptions to traffic at the US-45/WIS-175 intersection on the northwest side of Fond du Lac.  The driver attempted to make a left turn north onto US-45 when his load shifted, causing the trailer to tip over.  The truck was carrying bleaching and binding agents used in papermaking, according to the Fond du Lac Reporter.  A small amount of the chemicals spilled from the truck, though no chemicals reached local waterways.  The truck was uprighted after 6½ hours.  MilwBeerNut photo, 07/05/06, Fond du Lac WI
