IIRC it runs Tuesday and Saturday. LPA52 Adams-Butler runs Monday and Friday.

LPA 53 led by GMTX 2119 SATURDAY- had work @ 4 places - Oxford, S. Beaver Darn! , and Grand Marsh (can't recall the 4th) - heard them getting their warrant to head west.
:photo: Ramp candid shot a bit earlier (6/4). With all the 38's sitting around Butler - a bit baffle they're using a leaser for local jobs - must be as spiffy INSIDE as out.

Not of the train - but the power was Gmtx 2142 and Llpx 2237. Tucked in Butler Yard 17:38 - major stretch.

Heard it being built - or it wouldn't be posted in this thread. Image

Never got up to Hampton Av. - mSSPR pulled down to the south signal (4006-4770-4469 and Cotton Belt patch Gp60 1965) and tied down until the Chicago-bound crew arrived.
A Brandt boom truck shoved a trio of ballast hoppers around after dusting the Capitol Drive crossover with PINK LADY.
Mainlines should probably be groomed sometime in the next week.

This John Deere TMDS (UP cryptic machine code ? Tie/Material Distribution System??? ) can crawl off the Peterbilt "home" and along a string of gons or hoppers.

UP 1367+393 were wrestling with a sizeable string of sleeping hoppers - some grain but primarily coal/coke. Think they were on track 22 - and heard the yardmaster caution the crew that some cars had not had air on them in 2 years! Perhaps headed for Mitchell Yard storage - just before 11 am they went into emergency.

Also a full welded RAILTRAIN sits on track 28 with the threading duo UP 918530 and 531 on the north end. So it should be headed out the Adams sub.

Unseen switching crew building the train told yardmaster he could summon outgoing Lpa53 crew @ 07:57. Should put them on duty just after 10 Am.
Rail train from last week (UP 918530 + 31 threader pair) was reported @ Clyman Friday night.

Sticks and Stones report
Once again - the Peterbuilt/Brandt boom truck 83089 - without its John Deere TMDS crane - was shuffling around MoW tie gons @ 08:05.
Rather impressive to hear her growl while shoving 11 of them back down the east side track #30.
Sorry about the crappy lighting - a bit of cloud cover would've helped - but ya get the idea!

Also noted a fresh line of whiter ballast over the top of the new PINK LADY along the mains - and fresh ties along both mains.

By next SATURDAY - these mains should look FAR different.
Given the fresh fruit from Pick & Save was getting warm - did NOT make the run up to Hampton Av. to check the LPA 53-07 power :!:

:type: Well this was interesting - Friday's LP52 did not get back to Butler - so actually there were 2 today. Returning just before 15:00 were 68 cars behind UP 2027.
They spelled out their ID for the dispatcher - unfortunately my notepad isn't here now - but it was about 9 characters long plus -07 even though it departed as Lpa52-06.
Lpa53 (weekend extra) sounded like they got back into Butlah ~ 18:40 - though I didn't actually here them surrender their Adams warrants. By that time the Brewers had set to a 2nd trouncing of the Astros - tomorrow perhaps the sweep - as they did to the Brewers @ Minute Maid Park a week ago.

Also - UP welded rail threader set 513530 and 531 - built in 1969 - were back at Butler without their rail train (reported to be @ Clyman). Fortunately 396 lined 'em up pretty well.

And UP Sd70m 2002 - Olympic blue became the trailing unit on Saturday's mPRSS - after dropping Gp38's 720 and 665 back at Butler.

mPrSS-07 arrived 13:48 - following thru K-town - Sh'vegas coalie loads. @ 14:45 PrSS was tied down on main 1 waiting for its westward crew, the Sheboygan was heading main 1 thru Burleigh crossover to main 2 - and eventually to the Fonda siding once Butler South cleared. A relief crew was bringing back Friday's Lpa52 with 68 cars. Hoped to capture the digital souls of the 2027 (Gp60) leading 52 or the Sh'vegas power - but ran short of sand in the hourglass.

He just came by westbound ~0220. 2 GP38s, 40-some cars. Head end were TBOXs, then some reefers. Can't see much in the dark and fog out here.
