Oh nifty. Not my favorite, but it looks cool!

Monongahela is finished, definitely not my favorite, but it looks better than I had expected.

Also, the Wabash unit is done and waiting for the company photographer, and the CNJ unit is in the shop at Muncie for paint.

Thought they were done with the GEVOs?

The 8025 was added to the list after all orders had already been ordere, so they repainted a standard NS unit from a earlier order, the 8025 instead . It was a GEVO painted at Chattanooga in order to have a equal amount of units, 5 each, painted there and at Altoona.

Shouldn't the bottom be white for Wabash? Still a spiffy looking unit, though!

Wabash painted the bottom area silver like this too- it's pretty much spot on.

Is it bad that what could arguably be the dullest heritage locomotive is one of my favorites? Long live the worms!

Sometimes simplicity works, depending on what paint scheme and on what unit it sits. In this case, it fits nicely

Seeing that after the PC loco certainly shows a difference in paint scheme philosophy!
