Tonight at 7:30 p.m. I saw WSOR 1506 and 1503 go east light under University Avenue in Madison. They were moving along at a nice clip. After a few minutes they called the dispatcher to give back a warrant for the Prairie sub. They signed off as L464.
I've been under the impression that recently the only train that works in Madison in the evening (6 p.m. to midnight) is L468/L464 and that they only work MWF. Sal's WSOR spreadsheet lists L468 and L464 as working Monday through Saturday. Has anyone seen or heard either of these train on Tuesday's, Thursday's, or Saturday's?
Last night I chased 1506 and 1503 on L468. At the beginning of their shift they confirmed with the dispatcher that they'd go to Vita, something that sounded like "berg", Cottage Grove, and put together T6. They switched headed out on the Central Soya sub to switch the newspaper printer and then VitaPlus:http://www.flickr.com/photos/51009628@N06/6434344505/http://www.flickr.com/photos/51009628@N06/6434343361/
After returning to the yard they headed out on the Watertown sub with six gondolas and a tank car.
