If you place a wager on whether a train will derail... is that considered off-track betting?

I just heard, on the WSOR Road channel, the dispatcher giving a crew a warrant ont the "Waukesha Sub." The warrant had 3 boxes IIRC 1, 2, 16. The trransmisions were vary staticy so I didnt catch the engine numbers or much else. Anyone know what train this might be? Its very odd to here a Waukesha Sub warrant cosidering im about 2 miles due East of N. MKE HQ.

Thanks,

Well, it's probably the JH (T004) train getting a warrant. Or a grossly late HJ (T003). Or maybe a blade train (although that operated earlier this morning).

Thanks Karl, Ill go with T004 (I believe somone on the WSOR Yahoo group said the T003 followed the bladerunner). Iv never heard the dispatcher give a Waukesha Sub warrant from my location so it through me for a loop.

Thanks again,

Keep in mind that WSOR has spent some $$ on communications upgrades in the last year or so. They have some fairly high profile base stations now that can be heard for a fair distance.

I find that now WSOR is sometimes easier to hear than CN, who is still mostly using low profile sites for the base stations.

Thanks for the info. I just today bought a Pryme RD98 antena for my BC346xt so well see if pick up more traffic.

Does the T004 recieve its warrant for the WSOR Waukesha Sub before entering CN trackage?

Thanks,
